Uninvited Guest

Amy just stood there at the entrance to the building, jaw slack. She had gone to find her husband. The wedding reception had been going fine, but she had noticed a good number of guests had disappeared. The girls and Genos had been doing well to keep the bride and groom distracted, but she knew they couldn’t keep that up forever. She wanted to ask Joey if something was happening. She finally found him heading outside and followed him.

She found the other guests all right, and the dead body of a giant bug sprawled across several roofs on the other side of the street. “Everybody ok?” Joey yelled over. “Yeah, all taken care of and Saitama and Nozomi are none the wiser.” Bang called back. “See, we kept our promise.” Metal Bat responded as well.

“It didn’t damage the parking lot, did it?” Amy turned to look at her husband. “Is that really the priority here?!” He turned to her. “Well, we are renting the place. If something gets damaged we have to pay to for it.” She began to frantically wave to the other side of the street. “There is a giant cockroach thing laying dead over there!!!” “Oh, good point… Hey, can someone tell the Hero Association to hurry over and clean this up?” Mumen took out his phone while Lightning Max looked at his suit. “Aw, man, I got that thing’s blood on me… I need to wash this out..”

“At least it’s you’re not as bad off as Prisoner.” Bat added. Joey made his way over, quickly followed by Amy. “What happened to Puri?” Bat glanced up at him. “What do you think happened? He went into Angel Mode. He couldn’t let himself go back inside without a suit so he ran off to find one.” Joey’s shoulders slumped. “So, he’s streaking around town trying to find a tuxedo place that’s open?” “Yep.” Joey looked back at Amy. “We may have to send Puri’s gift bag to the prison…” At this point all Amy could do was give an exasperated groan.
